In the spring of 1998 the American Hereford Association contacted us stating that the Cow Palace in San Francisco was willing to host a Miniature Hereford Show during the Grand National Stock Show there in the fall. If we were interested in having this show, however, they had to know THAT DAY.. Quickly we decided that for the betterment of the Miniature Hereford breed, people had to see them, and what better way than at a show. San Francisco is a long way from eastern NE, but we started getting cattle ready for the show. November came and we were at this first Miniature Hereford show, nervous and excited. Thus began the fun, excitement and victories of the KP Ranch showing Miniature Hereford cattle.
