We purchased our first Miniature Herefords in October ’06 from
KP Ranch and have been nothing but pleased with our choice. In
the time that has transpired since, the folks at KP Ranch have
been professional in business, supportive in
operation/breeding advice, invaluable in show support, and
most importantly; priceless as new friends. Oh, and by the
way, the cattle we got from KP are nothing short of
magnificent! They came to us in wonderful condition, expertly
worked with as evidenced by their ease in handling, and
possessing clearly powerful genetics. We feel we’ve put in
place a great foundation for the production of an excellent
quality herd. We treasure our relationship with KP Ranch and
look forward to a future filled both with fellowship and with

 Going
into my purchase of Miniature Herefords I had almost zero
knowledge of cattle. Everyone at KP Ranch was willing to walk
me through the entire process of raising and showing cattle
prior to my purchase. They listened to my wishes and based on
what I wanted out of my purchase they put together a package
to help me meet my goals. Since my purchase I continue to
communicate with KP Ranch and they have advised me as
questions or concerns have arisen. They are very concerned
with their customer’s happiness after the purchase and the
continual growth of the Miniature Hereford breed.

 Bill and I first
met Ali and Kenny in 2000. We purchased 2 bulls and 4 heifers.
They have the best of the best as proven in the show ring. We
have come back to them several times for more cattle and have
never been disappointed. We also have contracted them to show
our cattle.
Ali and Kenny are what the
Miniature Hereford breed is about ............... Quality,
conformation, and love for the breed.

 Retired in
Montana with too much grass in our pastures, we needed cattle.
We decided on Miniature Herefords. Research was next.
Internet, travel to other ranches and lots of phone calls
armed just enough information to get us into trouble. I’ve
dealt in the horse industry for over forty years and was
prepared to pay my dues as a green horn, then the most
unexpected thing happened. We bought 3 cows and 3 heifers and
a bull from Ali & Kenny Petersen, who have the finest example
of a business conducted with integrity anyone could ask for.
We wanted only the best show cattle, paid good prices and were
rewarded with Championship and Grand Championship show wins on
our bull and heifer. They have held our hand, sharing
information, enthusiasm and great laughs over the past year.
We never realized how much personality cattle have or how much
we would love them. This is a rewarding experience I would
recommend to anyone.
